Dr Brooke O'Brien

Specialist Gynaecologist & Laparoscopic Surgeon, NASOG, IFEPAG

Dr Brooke O’Brien has a wealth of experience in gynaecology, with several years of specialist experience in gynaecology and women’s health, as well as subspeciality training in paediatric and adolescent gynaecological conditions.

Dr Brooke O’Brien has a relaxed and caring bedside manner, allowing you to feel comfortable to discuss your concerns when you book your gynaecologist appointment, as well as making herself available to answer any concerns you may have. Collectively her team are experienced in gynaecology care and have worked together for 12 years.

Dr Michelle Ledbury

BM, MRCP (UK ), ClinDipPallMed, FRACGP

Dr. Michelle Ledbury, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2018, has nearly 20 years of experience in various medical settings. Her experience and dedication to Women’s Health led her to join the team at Nurture Gynaecology in 2024.

Michelle’s approach to Women’s health is individualised and comprehensive—she believes in addressing the whole person, integrating lifestyle, mental well-being, with evidenced based medical care. Whether helping patients navigate the menopause transition, understand PCOS, or explore contraception options, she is committed to providing personalised care at every stage of life. When she’s not consulting with her patients, you’ll find Michelle scaling indoor climbing walls, perfecting her bouldering technique, or embracing the invigorating chill of an ice bath.

Kristy Howell - Practice Manager

Kristy has worked in the medical sector her whole life. She has over 25 years of experience in total, 15 of which have been in gynaecology. Kristy and Caroline have worked together for 14 years. Kristy works full time and can be contacted any time. Kristy also arranges all the in hospital admissions for Nurture patients.

Caroline McClure - Practice Secretary

Caroline has been working in gynaecology for over 14 years and has been with Dr Brooke O’Brien for 5 of those. Call Caroline anytime; she works Monday - Thursday at our main office and is our face of the practice.
